Canine Support Teams Celebrates Graduates from Classes of 2020 – 2022
Saturday, January 28, 2023

Canine Support Teams was excited to come together in person again for the first time in 3 years to celebrate the graduating Service Dog Teams of the Classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022.

In total, we graduated 38 teams and celebrated many of them at Monteleone Meadows. As always, it was so moving to have everyone come together and witness the impact our service dogs have on their handlers.

We were honored to have current and past clients, puppy raisers, Prison Pup Program staff from CIM, CIW and CRC, board members, staff, donors, and friends be there. Thank you to the local businesses and donors who generously provided the items for our raffle auction.

The Graduation Celebration is an emotional and impactful moment that truly exemplifies the great work of Canine Support Teams’ breeders, puppy raisers, trainers, and supporters who make every Service Dog Team happen. A Service Dog graduates after 18 months of being raised and socialized by a volunteer Puppy Raiser, 12-18 months of Advanced Training in CST’s first-of-its kind Prison Training Program, and then a 2-week intensive Team Training at the CST facility where clients are paired with their Service Dog.
